High School 7v7 League – 8 weeks

Games are on indoor turf field, round robin format.  Team size 10-14 players.   Individual registrations accepted.  All players registering from the same high school will be placed on the same team. If your team does not have at least 10 players, you may be combined with other individuals to fill out team roster.

Qualified Powerstyx coaches will be provided for all teams in the league.  Even during game play, our focus is on instruction so that players are learning as they experience different game situations. 

All games are 7v7 on a turf surface inside the HQ dome! 

Cleats, turf shoes or sneakers are appropriate.

Scores Kept, Win/Loss Records Posted, Championship Playoffs! 

League Format/General Information:

All games are 50 minutes in length with a 3 minute half time.  Each team will play one game per week with the scheduled game time varying each week within the designated hours for that league. Game shirts, coaches and referees are provided.  If a team does not have at least 7 players at a game, it is an automatic forfeit, but the game will still be played.  All league communications are done via email. Please be sure to provide an accurate email address.  If the facility closes and games are cancelled, an email will be sent to all players.  Players may also call Health Quest direct to check facility status at 908-782-4009.

Field Hockey Clinics – 3rd – 8^th Grade, Beginner - Intermediate level, 6 or 8 sessions

Players are grouped by age and/or ability to optimize the level of coaching.  Our coaches specialize in teaching and reinforcing the fundamentals of the game with a positive creative approach to learning.  Players will progress to game situations and will learn positions/game strategy as well as skills.

About Us:

“Powerstyx Field Hockey at Health Quest”   is under the direction of Lori Brown, also the director of T3 Lacrosse.  Lori brings over 7 years of program direction and administration experience to the field hockey programs being offered at Health Quest.   Lori played both field hockey and lacrosse at the Division I level.    She has partnered with the program managers at Powerstyx to insure that the players receive high quality instruction from coaches who are trained in the latest techniques and game strategies and are also committed to empowering our young athletes.
